The Clore Fellowship is the UK’s flagship leadership development program for the cultural and creative sectors. Spanning from September 2026 to May 2027, the fellowship is designed for mid-career professionals who are ready to take a significant leap in their leadership journey. It offers a unique, self-directed learning environment that combines intensive residential courses with professional mentoring and a secondment, fostering a new generation of leaders in arts, heritage, and cultural policy.
Eligibility
- Applicants should typically have at least seven years of leadership or change-making experience in the cultural sector.
- Early-career “Excellerate” fellowships are available for those with five years of experience.
- Candidates must demonstrate a clear vision for their leadership and a commitment to positive change.
- Open to freelance artists, producers, and consultants as well as those in permanent roles.
- International tracks (Chevening Clore) are specifically open to citizens of South Africa, Egypt, and other partner countries.
- Must be able to attend all mandatory residential sessions in the UK.
