Multiple departments will host interns during the summer. Applicants are required to indicate their preferred department and briefly explain their interest in their cover letter. Internship Location
The internship is primarily onsite in San Francisco, with limited placement opportunities in Oakland with the Golden State Valkyries and in Santa Cruz with the Santa Cruz Warriors. Final placement will be based on organizational needs and individual qualifications.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States. Candidates should be rising juniors or seniors currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, studying a related field and maintaining strong academic standing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite is required, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicants should be highly organized, able to manage time-sensitive tasks, and demonstrate a strong passion for sports and entertainment. Interns must be available to work up to 40 hours per week, with some roles requiring overtime.
Program Duration
The internship runs from July 6 to August 21, 2026, and follows a Monday through Friday schedule.
Compensation
Interns will be paid $20 per hour.
Program Highlights
Participants will take part in an orientation program, guided tours of Chase Center Arena, the Sephora Performance Center, Santa Cruz Warriors Headquarters, and Kaiser Permanente Arena. Additional highlights include weekly activities at Chase Center, speaker series sessions, networking opportunities, learning and development programs, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, employee resource group introductions, volunteer events, career workshops, and a career day with community relations teams.
