Applications are now open for the Türkiye Scholarships 2026, a prestigious fully funded scholarship program sponsored by the Government of Türkiye for outstanding international students.
Türkiye Scholarships offers a wide range of study opportunities at associate, undergraduate, master’s, PhD, and research levels, covering multiple disciplines and tailored to different countries and regions. Applicants receive access to a complete university and academic program guide through the Türkiye Scholarships Application System (TBBS).
This program enables talented students from around the world to study at top Turkish universities while benefiting from comprehensive financial and academic support.
Available Scholarship Programs
1. Associate Degree Scholarship Programs (TVET)
These two-year technical and vocational programs help students develop practical professional skills and career-ready competencies.
2. Undergraduate Scholarship Program
Designed for students seeking bachelor’s degrees in fields such as:
- Engineering
- Health Sciences
- Humanities
- Social Sciences
- Natural Sciences
3. Graduate Scholarship Program (Master’s & PhD)
Offers a broad range of programs across:
- Social Sciences
- Humanities
- Natural Sciences
- Engineering
at leading universities in Türkiye.
4. Merit Scholarship Program
Created for high-performing students who wish to pursue their education in Türkiye. Beneficiaries receive a monthly stipend twice the regular amount for their level of study.
Short-Term Scholarship Programs
Success Scholarship Program
For self-funded international students currently studying in Turkish universities who demonstrate outstanding academic performance. Covers monthly stipend only.
Research Scholarship Program
Designed for international researchers and academicians (PhD holders or PhD candidates at dissertation stage) to conduct collaborative research with Turkish universities.
Eligibility Requirements
Türkiye Scholarships are open to citizens of all countries.
Minimum Academic Performance
- Associate Degree & Bachelor’s applicants: 70%
- Health Sciences (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy): 90%
- Master’s & PhD applicants: 75%
Age Limits
- Undergraduate: under 21 years
- Master’s: under 30 years
- PhD: under 35 years
- Research: under 50 years
Important Notes
- Students currently studying in Türkiye cannot apply for the same level of study.
- Short-term programs may have additional requirements.
- Health Sciences specialization programs are not offered under Türkiye Scholarships.
- Applicants should always verify updated requirements during the application period.
Scholarship Benefits
The fully funded package includes:
- Full tuition fee coverage
- One-year Turkish language course

Monthly Stipend
- Undergraduate: 4,500 TL
- Master’s: 6,500 TL
- PhD: 9,000 TL
- Research Scholarship: 25,000 TL
(Research Scholarship covers stipend only.)
Required Documents
Applicants must upload the following during the online application:
- Valid passport or national ID
- Recent passport-size photograph
- National exam results (if available)
- Diploma or temporary graduation certificate
- International exam results (if required – e.g., GRE, GMAT)
- Language proficiency test scores (if required)
- Research proposal and academic writing sample (PhD applicants only)
