Rotary District 6220 Opens Applications for 2026–2027
Rotary District 6220 has opened preliminary applications for the Rotary Global Grant Scholarship, a $30,000 international scholarship supporting graduate-level study abroad during the 2026–2027 academic year.
The Rotary Global Grant Scholarship is a competitive and prestigious funding opportunity designed for emerging leaders pursuing careers in international service, community development, and global problem-solving. The scholarship supports non-doctoral graduate programs that align with Rotary’s mission of advancing peace, health, education, and economic development worldwide.
Scholarship Funding and Benefits
Selected scholars will receive $30,000 to support graduate study in a foreign country where Rotary has an active presence. Eligible academic programs must begin no earlier than Fall 2026 and be completed by December 31, 2027.
Rotary District 6220 notes that funded programs must align with at least one of Rotary’s seven areas of focus, which include:

Eligibility Criteria
The Rotary Global Grant Scholarship is open to college graduates who meet the following requirements:

Live, work, study, or maintain a permanent address within Rotary District 6220
-
Applicants in the Appleton area must be located north of Calumet Street

Demonstrate strong academic achievement and leadership potential

Have relevant work, volunteer, or educational experience

Show a clear commitment to community service and international impact

Plan a career aligned with one or more of Rotary’s focus areas
Rotary District 6220 clarified that Rotarians and their children or grandchildren, including individuals whose family members were Rotarians within the past three years, are not eligible for the scholarship.

The scholarship selection process begins with a preliminary application and proceeds through multiple stages:
